Tammy Donroe Inman, award-winning author of New England Desserts: Classic and Creative Recipes for All Seasons, will discuss her favorite desserts that originated in Massachusetts, the stories behind them, and the pleasures of seasonal baking!

Tammy Donroe Inman is a trained chef, cooking instructor, and award-winning author and photographer. She sharpened her knives testing recipes for Cook’s Illustrated magazine and the TV show America’s Test Kitchen. Her first cookbook, Wintersweet: Seasonal Desserts to Warm the Home, received rave reviews from The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Library Journal, and Publisher’s Weekly. Her current cookbook, New England Desserts, won New England Book of the Year. Her third cookbook, New England Brunch, comes out next year. A former editor for Boston magazine, she’s also written for Fine Cooking, Yankee, and The Boston Globe. She lives outside Boston with her family, two high-maintenance cats, and a pair of well-worn roller skates.
