Join the Newburyport Public Library and Historic Voices for an evening exploring a fascinating author: Charlotte Bronte
Meet Charlotte Brontë, the passionate authoress. Hear the story behind the written words, and learn how she, the middle child of six, survived to share their collected narratives. Visit with Charlotte in 1847, as she reflects on her emotionally-charged experiences as both student and teacher at various boarding schools. Share with her the joy of seeing her deeply personal novel, Jane Eyre, in published form.
